Appleton Farm | Ipswich maternity photography

I was very happy to get to meet this couple last summer before they had their beautiful baby girl.  We went to Appleton Farm which is one of my favorite locations to shoot at.  Hopefully I'll get to the baby's newborn session post soon!

Frost Farm | Derry New Hampshire

This little man made me work really hard.  Kids are usually shy in the beginning but I almost always win them over in the end.  This was not the case this day.  He just didn't like me.  So I kept my distance and put my 70-200 to good use.

Mom is expecting baby number 2 so we used this time to get some maternity shots as well.

Beautiful Mama | Marblehead maternity photography

I met Tanya a couple of weeks ago at her house for some awesome belly photos. I know Tanya through a friend of mine so my friend was there, AND I had one of my fabulous students shadowing me. It was a fun girls' day!

Tanya had this little third bedroom that was pretty much empty and had white walls and incredible light. Even though it was cramped for all of us we did a lot of shooting there.

In this picture you can see the snow on the balcony. I remember we were all amazed at how much there was. Since that day we have had 3 MAJOR snow storms with no melting in between. I bet that pile is at least twice as high now. We'll be going back in a few weeks to meet the new little baby. I'm hoping the snow doesn't melt so we can see!

I love this image. I always seem to be going out of my way to be creative in posing but sometimes a simple natural pose is just perfect.

I know these next two images are similar but I love them both for different reasons.

This is the first time I've ever attempted this tub shot. When I was pregnant my photographer did one of me and it was so cute. I love the way Tanya's came out!

I can't wait to meet Tanya's new baby boy in a few weeks. He is going to be the subject of my first newborn workshop!

Louise's Belly | Peabody Maternity Photography

Today I went to Louise and Rob's house to capture her beautiful belly that is holding a boy AND a girl! She is almost 28 weeks which means she is the size of a full term single pregnancy. She really seemed to be doing much better than I was at that stage of my twin pregnancy.

An interesting fact about Rob and Louise is that they were married on the Regis and Kelly show in 2005.

Susan's maternity photos | North Shore Maternity Photography

While on vacation with my friends in Maine this past weekend I did a session with Susan. She's the last of our close group of friends to have a baby and we are all SOOOOO happy for her.
The cottage we vacationed at was Susan's grandparent's so it was very special to be able to photograph her there.
