Carter | Danvers baby photography

Carter was born a year ago today. I can't believe his newborn session was that long ago. It seems like yesterday.

Yesterday he was a walking, laughing big boy. And when I say big I mean big. He is off the charts...literally. His nickname is meatball and that he is.

We were at Glen Magna, one of my favorite places to wander around and snap pictures.

"mmm. tastes like chicken!"

So the session is over and we go back to our cars. Mom puts Carter in the car seat letting him hold the keys. She shuts the door. We chat a little as she's rounding the car to the driver side. She goes to open the driver's door and it's locked. The little man had pushed the lock button on the keys. She tried coercing him to push the unlock button but even though he looks 15 he is in fact just 1 so that attempt failed. Luckily they live really close and Carter's dad was able to drive over with the spare set of keys.

Nichole 5 1/2 | Danvers Children's photography

Last weekend I went out with Nichole and her mom for our annual photo session. We went to Glen Magna again like we did last year. It's such a beautiful place with so many different places to go. Nichole was so easy and fun so I got a ton of great photos.

Little Miss Caitlin 13 Months | Danvers Portrait Photographer

I am so lucky to be Caitlin's personal photographer. It always amazes me how fast other peoples' kids grow up. I remember Caitlin being born like it was yesterday. Her newborn session is so fresh in my memory so it's amazing to see her go from this...

Glen Magna was our location of choice after throwing around some other options. You really just can't go wrong there.

Caitlin was an absolute doll and never fussed once. Getting this smile required mommy to jump around like a goofball behind me. I had to hold still because she was making ME laugh.

I'm just in love with all of these images. Stay tuned for a holiday card design.

Jake's senior portraits | Danvers senior portraits

This was by far my easiest session EVER. Jake was so easy going that I only needed to take 32 photos which I was quickly able to narrow down to 11 perfect ones. He had one look that he was comfortable with and it was a great one so why mess with perfection.

Little Jonathan | Danvers baby photography Glen Magna

Meet 10 month old Jonathan. He and his mom Susan were visiting from Chicago for two weeks and they wanted to get in a session with me. I did Susan's maternity session a year ago so I was very excited to finally take pictures of the little guy that was living in her belly.

Susan and her husband had their wedding reception at Glen Magna in Danvers and she requested we do Jonathan's pictures there. Since I already knew it was the perfect place I was very excited to go back.

Their reception was on the lawn in front of the historic mansion.

This year for Nichole's annual photo shoot we went to Glen Magna in Danvers. The grounds there are so beautiful. I can't believe I've never thought of going there before. I just love these two ladies and I'm so honored to take their pictures every year.
