Reese | Boston area Family Photography
Thanks to facebook I connected with this cute little family this weekend. We live about an hour away from each other so also thanks to facebook suggestions we heard about the Wellseley College Botanical Gardens. It was a great half way point for both of us.
18 Month old Reese wasn't too sure about me and really only got the big smiles from her dad.
Here is a slideshow of the rest. By clicking on the slideshow it will take you to the flickr album where you can see them individually.
And when she smiled she just lit up! This was one of the last photos I took and I was ecstatic to get it!
It was great to meet this new family and discover a new location on a gorgeous day.

Jacob | Peabody Family Photography
Last week I met Jacob and his family at their house. He's a serious little guy so getting smiles took a lot of work. We even had to bring in Grandma to help out. Smiling or not he's just adorable.
The session was in the evening and Jacob was fast asleep in his crib by the time we walked down to the kitchen to say goodbye. I had to go back up and get some pictures of him sleeping.
Here is a slideshow of the rest of the images. You'll be seeing more of this family in a couple of weeks when I photograph Jacob's christening.Saturday, May 8, 2010
Sarah and Shaun | Boston engagement photography
Last weekend I went into Boston with Shaun and Sarah to do their engagement session. We went early in the morning and the weather was perfect!
I took some photos of them walking through the produce market, in Faneuil Hall, in Government Center, Boston Common and finally on the Esplanade. We really made the rounds.
Sarah was fairly warned that if she did anything silly that it would end up on the blog. This will teach her to call my bluff :-)
Sarah and Shaun were a ton of fun and I can't wait to photograph their wedding in September.
Here is a link to the rest of their photos from the day.
Baby Henry | Lynnfield Newborn Photography
This handsome little guy is Henry. His father is my son's Godfather and one of my husband's oldest friends. We were so happy when we found out that He and his wife were expecting their first baby. Henry made his debut a couple of weeks early but perfectly healthy.
He was 10 days old the day of our session. When I got there he was awake. I took the opportunity to get some pictures of him with his eyes open.
Then we waited and waited and waited and waited for 3 hours for him to fall asleep. What newborn stays awake for 3 hours??
Welcome to the world Henry! I can't wait to watch you grow.
Courtney's bridal shower
Normally I only post sessions or events where I was the hired photographer. I'm making an exception here because at my friend Courtney's bridal shower I didn't know anyone but her and her mother. I was able to take the opportunity to pretend I was the hired photographer. Sadly this is one of the events in the wedding festivities that people don't seem to hire a photographer for.
These are the images that people are missing out on!
The future bride radiantly greeting her guests...
The colorful centerpieces...
Opening gifts...
And a beautiful image of the bridal party.
Next time you are involved in planning a bridal shower you really should consider hiring a professional photographer to capture all of your hard work.
