As with any wedding we stressed over the weather the week before. It was looking like we were going to get rain in the afternoon right around the time we were set to go take the "formal" shots. All you can do is go with the flow when the day comes and that's just what we did.
My favorite thing to do now is peek at the inscription in the groom's ring. This one said "You and me kid". I just love that!
I caught Sandy's dad peeking out the window.
Once we were off to the church the skies darkened up a bit and by the time it was time for Sandy to get in the church it had started to rain.
The handsome groom viewing his bride for the first time.
St. John the Baptist in Peabody is such a beautiful church!

When the ceremony was over we needed to discuss what we were going to do about going to our next outdoor location for formal pictures. It was really looking like rain so we did the formals in the church. It all worked out very well and with such a beautiful church you really can't go wrong.
There was a bit of time to kill so we went to a local hotel where they had a room set aside for us to use if needed. I took some more fun pictures there before we made our way to the reception.
The reception was at the Holy Ghost Society in Peabody. It's brand new and absolutely beautiful and very large!
My first wedding of the year was awesome and makes me look forward to the rest that I have booked! Thank you Sandy and Andy for letting me photograph your special day!
