Olivia 5 years old | Salem Photographer

{click for a larger view}

Since the day she was born this little girl stole my heart. Her parents (two of my best and oldest friends) were nice enough to let me take care of her while they worked when she was a baby. I loved the time I got to spend with her while I anxiously awaited my own family. Olivia is also the baby that helped me develop my photography skills and realize that this is what I wanted to do for a living. My own family is now complete, I'm officially a photographer, Olivia is 5 and she is still stealing my heart.
We had a ton of laughs on our annual photo shoot yesterday. She had me cracking up all day long.

Blue eyed beauties! | Andover Baby Photographer

This morning I went over to Heather's house to take some overdue pictures of her 6 month old son Joshua and of course his big sister Elise. These children belong in magazines! I just can't take the blue eyes.

For this particular shoot I put the rest of the photos here.

Spring Mini Sessions! | Peabody Photographer

It's time to get those family photos you're been putting off. I am now booking mini sessions for Saturday, April 25th at Leather City Common in Peabody. The dogwood trees are in full bloom by then! Reserve your spot now. You must have an appointment.

Mini session fee is $150 per family and includes roughly 15 minutes of shooting time of the family as a whole (including pets!) as well as individual shots. Your photos will be enhanced and available to view on my proofing website. The fee also includes one digital negative. Additional prints or digital negatives are available at an additional charge.

If you aren't available that day but would like to book a full session, feel free to contact me.

I'd also be willing to book another day of mini sessions if you are able to get at least three other families to join you.

Sweet Hazel's First Birthday | Ipswich Baby Photographer

Today I was quite literally blessed to meet Hazel. I was blessed because just less than 3 months ago Hazel's doctors didn't know if she would survive accidentally swallowing a button battery. Her experience is every parents worst nightmare and I just can't say how happy I am that this had a happy ending. Hazel's story has caught media attention and the news will be featuring her in hopes to spread the word about these dangerous baby hazards. You can read all about Hazel and her wonderful parents at their blog.
Now onto the absolutely adorable photos!

Gavin and Gracie | Gloucester Newborn Photographer

Today neither baby would stay asleep so I wasn't able to get the sleepy baby pictures I had in my head but having awake newborns is great too!

Sneak Peak of Gavin and Gracie

Louise and Rob welcomed Gavin and Gracie a week and a half ago.  I went up yesterday to meet them.  I wasn't prepared for how emotional I would be seeing these two little miracles.  Less than two years ago I brought home two very similar miracles so seeing them really made me miss my teeny babies.
I took a few practice photos but I am going back tomorrow for an extended shoot.  They were perfectly behaved yesterday so let's hope I get more of the same tomorrow.
Oh, get this...Louise delivered at just shy of 38 weeks.  Gracie weighed 6 lb 5 oz and Gavin was 7 lb 14 oz!!!!

Boston | Boston Photographer

Last night I went on a photo walk with a friend in the beautiful city of Boston. We started out at Bunker Hill Monument in Charlestown with daylight and stayed there until sunset.

We drove downtown after sunset and parked near Symphony Hall. We stopped for a bite to eat then went over to the Christian Science Center. What a beautiful place!

We got back in the trusty Jeep and drove to Kenmore Square with the mission of shooting the famous Citgo Sign.

But I got quite a few more interesting ones in the area.

Unfortunately this is how our fun night ended...

When I got in to drive the brake pedal went all the way to the floor. When we moved the car there was a puddle of brake fluid on the ground.
Luckily my friend has AAA and totally saved the day.

Thanks for the rescue and the fun photo walk, Nick!
