Erin, Toby, and Biscuit and Bailey | Rockport Pet Photography

Last year I had a session with Erin, Toby, and Biscuit. Since then they have added to their family a companion for Biscuit. Both of these dogs are rescues. Biscuit is just perfect. He is so friendly and fun. Bailey is an absolute sweetheart. She is so gentle and a little shy. She took a liking to me right away which made me very happy.

Rockport is such a beautiful place. The little inlets directly off the Atlantic ocean are just picture perfect.

Family Photos at Lynch Park in Beverly

Yesterday I met Michelle, Jeff, Alex, and Gianna at Lynch Park. It was a beautiful fall day although the flowers in the rose garden are still going strong.
It wasn't too hard to get a bunch of great photos of this beautiful family.

2 1/2 year old Gianna was a little more of a challenge but I was very surprised at how cooperative she was for her age.

Rory and Westy | Marblehead Family Portraits

This lucky family was the winner of a session I donated to an auction for the Landmark School in Manchester.
They live so close to the ocean that it was the obvious place to do the session.
Luckily nobody was camera shy but keeping these two from poking each other was a feat. They at least pretended to like each other which allowed me to get some really nice shots.

Max | Beverly Baby Photography

Max is growing so quickly. Here he is as a newborn. Here and here he is at 9 months. And here he is at 11 months even though the post says 10. He is now 19 months old and very active!
Max is going to be a big brother very soon so they wanted to get some last pictures as a family of 3. He kept me moving and on my toes!

We started our session at Lynch Park in Beverly. The rose garden was a great place for photos although there was nothing that made Max very happy.

I love this picture with the mud on his jeans. Wouldn't you know he fell in the ONE mud puddle between the car and the rose garden.

Lynch Park is surrounded by the ocean but on a sunny day it's hard to capture it AND the subjects.

We finally made our way to the playground where Max's personality really came out.
Love the dirty bum :-)

We went back to their house after to get some shots in his own environment. This kid loves to be naked!

I wanted to get a cute shot of all of their feet but Max had another idea...tickle Daddy's feet!

Stay tuned for Max's new baby brother and some holiday photos!

Mike and Marilyn's wedding

Although I am not a wedding photographer I absolutely love them and I love to take pictures when I'm a guest. I always remember to stay out of the hired photographer's way though ;-)
A few weeks ago one of my baby cousins got married in the Hartford area. Marilyn is literally perfect in every way and we are so happy that Mike found her.

I wanted to share some of my favorite shots here.

Their first dance was awesome. The dance lessons really paid off.

I love this picture. This is my father and my oldest cousin. She was at my parents' wedding in 1972 as a little girl and there is a picture of the two of them dancing. So cute!

Meet the Surettes | Swampscott Family Photography

Photographing a large group is not an easy task. Add in the fact that this particular large group did not have a serious bone in their collective body and you get a session that is utter chaos. They had me laughing the entire time even after my shoes had been mysteriously thrown to the other side of the street.
