Iris and Jay | Hammond Castle Wedding Photography | Gloucester

I was called about 4 weeks before this wedding to see if I was available.  It was a very small wedding at probably the most interesting venue in New England.  I was so excited to be photographing an event at Hammond Castle!

Iris would only peek through the little peep hole before the ceremony.



Since visiting hours for the castle were closed we had free run of the place.  I was like a kid in a candy store!

Before this wedding I was poking around the internet for some ring shot inspiration.  I saw this cool shot with scrabble letters and thought it was cute and was planning on bring letters with me but I completely forgot.  That night when I asked Iris and Jay for their rings to photograph Iris said, "Oh!  I have something for you!" and hands me a zip lock baggie with scrabble letters in it.  I couldn't believe it!!!

Stephanie and Brian's wedding day last fall was so beautiful and fun!

We started out at their house where the girls got ready.



Then it was time to head to the church.



Stephanie was laughing at a private joke that I knew about in this picture.  I tried as hard as I could to stifle it but I let out a little laugh too.


After the ceremony we went to the reception site at the beautiful Bellevue Golf Club.  We had lots of time to have some fun with pictures before needing to head into the ball room.



Then it was time for the first dance and the rest of the festivities.



The sky was amazing at sunset.
