Boston Baptism

Right after my workshop with Liam I had to Jet across town to photograph a baptism. I absolutely love photographing events. I'm definitely most comfortable when I'm a fly on the wall and to be able to take pictures like the paparazzi I'm in absolute heaven.

The Deacon totally pointed me out to the entire church as "the paparazzi". It was definitely funny but I was a little embarrassed.

Could this little girl be any cuter?

And she was lucky enough to have two GORGEOUS gowns to wear.

I absolutely love it when people think to hire a photographer for events like this. It really is worth every penny when you don't have to worry about remembering to take pictures yourself. You've got enough on your mind!!

Baby Liam | Boston Newborn Photography

Baby Liam was as sweet as can be. He was my second workshop model and he gave us lots of practice photographing an awake baby. He refused to surrender to sleep.

He was perfectly content to lay wherever we put him though.

This looks like he was sleeping but he was just faking. He was so cozy here he just couldn't keep his eyes open. Just when we would think he was asleep he'd pop his eyes back open.

Baby Gavin | Swampscott Newborn Photography

Two days after my last newborn (previous post) I had my first of three newborn workshops. Despite greeting us with cries Gavin was very well behaved.
We were able to shoot in the same room where we photographed mom's belly a month and a half ago. Such amazing light with all the white walls. But the room was pretty small for 4 adults, 3 of whom were trying to stay out of each others light!

I was really happy with the way the workshop went. Basically we all chatted about the possibilities of where to shoot and what props to use, we talked about what manual settings would be best and we'd shoot away! During feeding times we had the opportunity to chat about post processing options, lenses, and other stuff. It was all very casual and hopefully informative!

I still have two possibly three slots open for my March 19th workshop (baby girl is being born today!!!)

Baby Aiden | North Shore Newborn Photography

Last week I met 7 day old Aiden. What a sweet boy! I was so happy that his mom contacted me to take his pictures.
Aiden's nursery was the perfect place to set up my traveling studio. The light was fantastic!

He was fantastic and even tolerated a few different poses while staying asleep.

But then go right back to sleep when we laid him back down.
