Riley | Boston area newborn photography

I've been photographing Jenna and Tim and their dogs for many years now and I just couldn't wait for them to be parents.

Riley's birth in January was highly anticipated by Jenna and Tim along with friends and family.

You will notice in the pictures that Riley has some birthmarks on her
face. She was born with Congenital Melanocytic Nevus (CMN). Basically,
Riley was born with over 40% of her body covered in birthmarks, freckles
and moles of varying sizes. This rare condition is random and affects one
out of 500,000 birth a year... She has two large-giant birthmarks on her
that cause concern due to their location and size. Jenna & Tim are
monitoring them closely with her doctors in Boston and New York. Other
than the birthmarks, the doctors said that she is in good health and
hitting all her milestones.

I am so pleased with how these images came out. Riley is such a beautiful girl and I can't wait to see her grow.

Olivia 6 years old | Salem Children's photography

For Olivia's 6th birthday we went to Salem and spent some time modeling on the wharf. This year Olivia had a hard time being serious. She just wanted to make funny faces and poses. She's silly just like her daddy :-)

This witch photo layout is getting a little out of hand as the years go on. She told me this year that when she was 3 she was afraid of the witch. I had no idea!

Since we were near the House of the Seven Gables I took her into the gift shop to show her my postcards that are for sale there. Then we went onto the grounds to take some photos.

Jaelyn | Boston area newborn photography

Jaelyn is the newest member of the F family. She was wide awake and ready for her first photo shoot.

Big Yawn!

Mommy was able to get her asleep for a very short while so I was able to get a couple sleepy baby shots.

They have this same shot of slightly older brother Jason hanging on their wall.

What a cutie pie! I even got to snuggle her for a bit which was great!

Reese | Boston area Family Photography

Thanks to facebook I connected with this cute little family this weekend. We live about an hour away from each other so also thanks to facebook suggestions we heard about the Wellseley College Botanical Gardens. It was a great half way point for both of us.

18 Month old Reese wasn't too sure about me and really only got the big smiles from her dad.

And when she smiled she just lit up! This was one of the last photos I took and I was ecstatic to get it!

It was great to meet this new family and discover a new location on a gorgeous day.

Jacob | Peabody Family Photography

Last week I met Jacob and his family at their house. He's a serious little guy so getting smiles took a lot of work. We even had to bring in Grandma to help out. Smiling or not he's just adorable.

This white outfit is a family heirloom that was worn by his Father when he was a baby.

This is my new friend Riley. He was the best! I would have taken him home in a heartbeat!

The session was in the evening and Jacob was fast asleep in his crib by the time we walked down to the kitchen to say goodbye. I had to go back up and get some pictures of him sleeping.

Sarah and Shaun | Boston engagement photography

Last weekend I went into Boston with Shaun and Sarah to do their engagement session. We went early in the morning and the weather was perfect!

I took some photos of them walking through the produce market, in Faneuil Hall, in Government Center, Boston Common and finally on the Esplanade. We really made the rounds.

Sarah was fairly warned that if she did anything silly that it would end up on the blog. This will teach her to call my bluff :-)

Sarah and Shaun were a ton of fun and I can't wait to photograph their wedding in September.
